Gabby Concepcion’s first major project with ABS-CBN is a teleserye with Claudine Barretto entitled “Iisa Pa Lamang” which is based on the Joey Albert song. To be directed by Ruel Bayani and debuting megman Manny Polo, Claudine and Gabby will share lead roles with Susan Roces. Claudine will also star in the from-movie-to-television series “Maligno,” Susan’s ‘70s horror flick with Diether Ocampo and Rafael Rosell. Claudine is clearly back after taking a longish vacation to give birth to Santino, her and Raymart Santiago’s firstborn. Despite KC Concepcion and Angel Locsin joining ABS-CBN and the buzz that Star Magic premium talents are now second priorities at the Kapamilya Network, Claudine takes the lead to disprove them. No doubt Claudine is still ABS-CBN’s queen, a tag which will be hers for life!
