After much controversy on her GMA 7 contract expiration, Cristine Reyes signed a one-year exclusive contract with ABS-CBN last April 11.Her contract with the Kapamilya network includes two teleseryes; the remake an Alma Moreno classic Eva Fonda,16, and the Philippine-Malaysian drama starring Jericho Rosales and Carmen Soo. She defended her sister, Ara Mina, who is said to have arranged Cristine’s transfer. “Ang paglipat ko dito, desisyon ko,” she said.The actress also stated that she will always be thankful to her former mother station for establishing her showbiz career.GMA network however, released a series of statements with regards to Cristine’s previous contract with them, the last one saying that they are letting the actress go due to an attitude problem. Cristine defended herself by explaining she was very professional and did everything the network told her. About accusations that she’s a “problem” at work, Cristine could only say, “Mas maganda tanungin ang mga tao na nakatrabaho ko na.”
Meanwhile, the issue between Cristine and actor Dennis Trillo’s ex-flame Carlene Aguilar has yet to die down. The young actress confirmed reports that she and Dennis Trillo ran into Carlene Aguilar in a mall recently. She confessed that she and Dennis watched a movie that time as friends and made it clear that they never got back together. ABS-CBN
